Volumes of moduli spaces of flat surfaces

Moduli spaces of flat surfaces were introduced by Thurston and Veech in the 80's. Besides, they proposed a definition of volumes of these moduli spaces. We will explain why these volumes are finite and can be computed explicitly in all genera by an inductive procedure that we call "Flat Recursion".
