Geometry and Quantum Field Theory Ten years or so ago I wrote a paper with Alan Carey discussing conformal field theory techniques and how they can be used to find an exact solution of a one dimensional quantum field theory known as Luttinger model. In this talk I report on a two dimensional analogue of the Luttinger model. I plan to talk about the physical motivation and the mathematics used to solve this model.
